My ... email policy

If you want me to read your message, please:
- DO NOT (rep. DO NOT) send HTML. (If you send me a HTML you fall in /dev/null.
You WILL NOT be notfied about that. I WILL NOT be notified about that.
My procmail just redirect your HTML to /dev/null. The only trace of that fact is in my procmail logs.)
- DO NOT use Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 - procmail drop that to /dev/null also.
- DO NOT use spammers phases in subject - procmail rule will call /dev/null to store your email as default.
- DO NOT allow my spam analizer script to match on any of your unproper message header - /dev/null like it a lot.

If one of the above matches, expect the following:
- your message is automatically deleted, unseen, unread
- no spam folder exists
- default place for it is /dev/null
- no notification from procmail should be expected
- the only trace of your email is daily procmail log file
- I don't usually even skim procmail logs
- compressed backup is performed BEFORE any procmail rule could be called
- I don't usually even skim backup files
- procmail logs and backup files are rotated daily
- month old files are compressed and archived
- two month old archives are deleted
- no other backup exists
- you waste your time
- you save my time

If you want me to read your message, and expect fast reply, please:
- make sure you understand my email policy (see above)
- no SPAM headers exist in your email
- your MUA understands RCF822
- you understand RCF822
- make sure I know you well ( fast reply matches here ;) )

If you have any questions concerning the above informations - ammmm, ... - email me ;-D.
HAL: This sort of thing has cropped up before....and it has always been due to human error.
No kiddin', really! Good luck! ;-)
